Birmingham High School class of 1978’s 40-year reunion was held at the Hilton Hotel in Woodland Hills on June 23^rd. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was unforgettable. This class had an incredible memorial table with candles lit for each of the classmates that are no longer with us. It honored everyone’s lives in a meaningful way and many were brought to tears. The committee did a great job decorating for the past. Centerpieces and candy at every table along with balloons and streamers throughout the room. Everyone enjoyed listening to their favorite songs from back in the day. The evening was a wonderful time dancing, reminiscing, and catching up.

Pete Knight High School class of 2008 had their 10-year reunion at the Hilton Garden Inn in Palmdale on June 9^th.  The dinner and dessert was wonderful and the atmosphere was unforgettable. Everyone had a fun time reminiscing and dancing the night away with old and new friends. It was a terrific night for everyone!

Hollywood 1968 had their 50-year reunion at the Sportsmen’s Lodge Hotel in Studio City on July 21^st.  When you walked into the ballroom, there were balloons with their school mascot floating from the ceiling along with several tables full of high school memorabilia!  They surprised the class and brought in three amazing personalized Hollywood cakes!

Another special touch was that two classmates serenaded the class with some classic hits, which made this reunion extra special…they completely had the floor packed when they sang, “You’ve got a Friend” by James Taylor!  Mark from Fanfare Events had the dance floor going with their favorite songs from back in the day.

El Camino Real High School Class of 1988 in Woodland Hills had their reunion on June 9^th. They selected Wolfgang Puck’s Catering at Hollywood & Highland and oh, what a view! As you walked into the room you could see the Hollywood sign! The food stations were amazing. The DJ from Let the Music Play had the floor filled with people dancing the night away. Everyone had a fun time reminiscing!

On May 19^th, we partnered with Estancia High School class of 1968 at the Crowne Plaza in Costa Mesa. The committee went with a 50’s theme and had lots of fun decorations…they had records and streamers hanging from the ceiling, along with checkered cloths, Route 66 signs, “milkshakes” and old cars decorating the dinner tables!  A few classmates even joined in with wearing 50’s regalia.  They set up a beautiful memorial table honoring their late classmates and also recognizing classmates that served in the military. The evening was terrific full of laughter, dancing and reminiscing.

On April 14th, San Gabriel High School class of 1968 had their 50 year reunion at the Courtyard Marriott in Pasadena. What a wonderful evening! They had many door prizes and the classmates danced the night away with Alan Reno, owner of Let the Music Play, playing the greatest hits of the 60’s and today! A classmate even brought yearbooks for everyone to reminisce about their high school days. Many people commented that it was a great night!
